Moving out most recent villagers?

Hi! I saw on some guide on how to move out villagers that it's harder or nearly impossible to move out your two most recent villagers. Is this correct?
Is it only true if it is the most recent 2 of your FIRST 10 villagers?
I'm trying to do a trade with someone but we're wondering if it is possible since one of them is a recent move in

Weirdly enough that just jogged my memory! My cousin's most recent villager moved in and once he was done unpacking he wanted to leave!
So I guess it's not true. I can't believe I forgot that!

I’m trying to find some information on this too, I’ve been trying to move out my most recent villager for 2 days now using the 15 day skip and everyone else has pinged me but the targeted villager I’m still trying so I’ll let you know

I don't know how my cousin got such a rare and random prompt!
But I'll let you know too, the person I'm trading with isn't giving up despite trying for hours now!

yeah i don't think it's impossible! maybe it's just bad RNG :/

i think second to last move-in villagers ping a lot, actually ! been asked twice by them to move out, two seperate villagers. i think a much more telling who's-gonna-ask is a mix of RNG and high friendship levels lolllll.

That might be true! But in the past games it didn't matter how high your friendship was lol
I remember being heart broken when my fav Goldie (I got her picture) left without a word and just a letter the next day saying she was too sad to tell me she wanted to leave

oh ! well at least good news is, it really looks like villagers WILL NOT leave without asking you first. you have to get a ping.
