Moving out blues

Harry the hungry, hungry hippo is finally leaving my town. He was so hard to get out, I'm waiting for a villager to be ready for pickup so I'm scared another unloved voidling will move in in a few hours. They all move in so fast, ughh.

Is there any way to prevent any more horrendous random move ins from my sister's void?? Does turning off Streetpass and etc sabe me or am I doomed? I wish we had a bit more control of when villagers move in or that high friendship with villagers would actually MEAN they'd ask to move less often and etc etc sigh

Visit a town with 10 villagers and that should clear your void...
Turning off streetpass will work probably.

Leaving Wi-Fi off will help to prevent random move-ins. You can't clear the void. The game remembers the last 16 villagers who moved out and there is nothing you can do to clear it.
