Moving out Amiibo villagers

I was just wondering if there was a way to move out my amiibo villagers without using more Amiibo cards? They don't seem to ping to move like my adopted villagers do. I want to move out my amiibo villagers and adopt new ones

Any tips?

They do want to move, but in my experience, it's extremely rare. Like, out of ~40 some requests to move, I've only had an amiibo card villager request to move two or three times, and eight of my villagers are from amiibo cards.

I've seen other people say they want to move just as often as their normal villagers though.

They will eventually ping to move, it may take a bit of trying to get them to ping but the chances are the same as with any other villager. You're best bet is to use an amiibo card if youre trying to replace them ; v ;
