Books are normally better than the movie version because you can't fit everything from a book into a 2 hour movie. But I'm too lazy to read books half the time, so I guess I like them both pretty evenly. A book in comparison to a long term show though... I would probably prefer the show. Which is why 95% of the time I prefer watching anime over reading manga.
If a book's bad, no one cares. If a bad movie based on a good book happen, it gives the book a bad rep. A book can be molded and the voices, the surroundings can be thought of to the reader's personal preference. books allow for imagination, movies are often rushed and dont give the consumer time to think. Idk i judt like books more
It can depend on my mood but usually I would say books. I used to have about 70 different books in my room, bought a kindle and now I have hundreds stored in there. I always buy a book each month, at least one, after I get paid.
I have watched a few movies this year but only about 6 probably all in all. Whereas books I've read at least 15. Which isn't as many as what is normally manage to get through when I'm feeling well
