Most overrated/underrated villagers?

Tipper and Leonardo.. underrated! I love both of them, I would say Rolf but he's middle ground.

Ankha is pretty overrated

I'm kind of obsessed with Bruce, Biskit, and Vesta, and it makes me sad they aren't as popular as others. Don't get me wrong, Stitches is one of my favorite villagers, but I wish some of the other cuties would be popular too.

As for villagers I've never been a big fan of that everyone seems to like are: Marshal, Julian, and Muffy.

I just never understood the desire.

I personally love Marshal and Stitches, that might just be because of the fact the community brainwashed me lol.
I think Sydney should be WAY more popular. Poppy as well, so sad she moved away!

I feel like Beau is overrated (then again, I?m not a huge fan of deer villagers).
I love all the bunny ones though (is Mira considered underrated? She is one of my
absolute faves alongside Bunnie).

Honestly, I think all of the Tier 1 villagers are overrated, which doesn't mean that I don't see their appeal and even like some of them myself. I just don't understand the mass idolatry that some of those villagers have, in particular Marshal, Julian, Stitches, Chrissy and Francine. I have nothing against those villagers or the individuals that like them, but I personally don't see what makes a whole community go gaga over them.

There are so many underrated villagers. Grizzly is my favorite and I don't understand why he's not more popular. He's a natural colored grumpy bear that's perfect for forest themed towns, yet he gets passed over for other villagers all the time. Another villager I love who never gets mentioned is Anicotti. She's an adorable mouse and was one of my best friends in my GameCube town. I would love to get her in my New Leaf town someday as well.

On the whole, I think certain species are largely overlooked and underrated. Anteaters, koalas, pigs, mice, monkeys and apes have some great villagers among them. Why aren't koalas more popular? They're small and adorable.

I agree that mice are such an underrated species in Animal Crossing. Personally I think it has some of the best villagers (2 of my absolute favorites) in the game. I think it's kind of weird how they tend to be so unpopular since they're so small and cute. I think Dora had the potential to be a popular villager, but for whatever reason she never gained any traction.

WHEW, OKAY, so...

Does anyone love the pig villagers like I do? Spork is one of my favourites, a) because I like "natural" coloured villagers, and b) he looks like such an adorable doofus. Is Cole a popular bun-bun? I love how he and Dotty have such vacant expressions lol, I like pairing them together in my town. Also, the chickens. Ava + Goose for LIFE.

I like the pigs.Spork was the first one to move into my hog town.

I've never put much consideration into which villagers are overrated or underrated but there are some good ones I like that I don't see in other towns very often such as Tipper,Nate,Bree,Pippy,Tom,Benjamin,Graham,Pudge,Becky,Drake,Gwen,Tutu and Nan.

I?m fond of Alice- I think she is my fave koala villager, she?s making her way to my perm villager list.

She's my favorite and i think she is soooo underrated...GALA. shes ADORABLE. The cutest pig in the game. Im surprised shes not one of the popular "dreamies" just because if how cute she is.

As far as overrated i would have to say Fauna. Shes still very cute but I invited her to my town and i kinda just wasn't feeling her!

Nana, she is one of the only monkeys I like tbh, super cute, her name is adorable

Tipper is a cool design for a snooty villager and she has a nice UwU look

Tank has a leaf on his head??? Very nice.

Ken is cool and edgy, nice black and blue

Bella is a cute alt babe that deserves more attention imo.

I dont see the appeal in Marcel since there are so many other cute/cool squirrels.

Rodeo is also not too pulular...and for a long time I didn?t really find the bigger villagers to be cute but...but I dunno rodeo is adorable!

Personally I like marina but do not rly care for zucker

I like marshal, tho im not ga-ga over him. I probably wouldn't love him as much as I do if he wasn't one of the first smug villagers that moved in on me at random. Design wise he's pretty plain, but I have a sentimental appreciation for him lol

I've been looking for villagers for my new leaf town recently and I have to say, I never see Bella talked about even tho she's rly cool!
I think I'm gonna try to get her for my town soon. She's like... pearl from splatoon, but mouse!!!!
