Most distinct memories of new leaf

do you have any memories of new leaf that stick out to you i sure do im gonna give a couple

I remember my first town in new leaf I had carmen sparrow and frank to me they are the trio in my head

i remember when sparrow asked to come to house and 3 seconds later he said he was leaving I was shocked

I distinctly remember the first thing i bought in able siters it was a kilt and i procceded to run around in it for the entire day lol

I remember when the trailer for New Leaf dropped, I was in primary school and I rushed home to watch it and was soooo shocked at the clip of them jumping off the cliff into the sea that it was all I could think about in my little 11-year-old brain for weeks lol

• boone moving out of my town - i was so devastated. he was the first villager i reached a high friendship status with and of course he moved away randomly after i time travelled. i was 10 years old at the time and i was so upset that i begged my father to give nintendo a call like they had any influence on it.

• coco moving in. i believe i got her from online play and i saw she was wearing the gray parka shirt. i wanted it SO BAD so for weeks i looked up tutorials on how to get your villager to sell/give stuff away.

• hitting muffy with a net because i wanted her to leave my town because i thought she was super ugly (sorry muffy)

That time at 9 years old I let some random person on Club Tortimer ‘try on’ my crown. They immediately left. I don’t know why I was surprised

spending hours upon hours catching bugs on the island to get money .... and quillson moving in directly in front of my house in one town .... 〒 〒

glitching/trading/tours with my online friends from around the world that I met on xat.com.

Club tortimer remains a solid memory meeting people and going hunting for sharks and crabs at dusk.

Really distinct memory of it for me was when I sent Boone a hate letter with a piece of rubbish I'd fished attached, and then him coming to me and telling me how much he loved it lol. 7yo me was in shock, I thought I was going to get him out of my town with that haha

I remember really clearly that one time when I went to the showcase there was actually a few houses there. I wasn't allowed to use the online function because my parents were worried, so I was really confused at why they were there. I remember one of the houses having all the rooms, and I was shook, I didn't realise that the houses could be so big

Finding out there were LoZ themed gear in acnl had me so hyped up, I remember super distinctly the first time I saw the boots, me and my sis were bouncing up and down super excited, since we loved LoZ so much haha

Some of my most distinct memories are with my best friend, who I met on here like ten years ago! We still chat most days, but visiting their island, and playing Tortimer games together was a big part of our early friendship.

oh my gosh, actually yeah. when people were able to convert images into patterns for clothing, i put a shirt in the able sisters with marshal's face on it. i had mashal in my town. the next day, what is marshal wearing?

the shirt with his face on it. i've jokingly called him self absorbed ever since.

When Nan moved out of my first or second new leaf town I think I cried
I remember that very well

doing the labyrinth, fossil-finders, item matching, and hammer tours for hours on end every single day for the entire summer of 2013 with my now-partner! also they had the guide book and we would study that thing religiously. we'd make notes about what furniture we wanted and how to get it, what times to find what bugs we needed, and we'd track our progress for the museum.

i also remember closing my 3DS and shaking it for like 5 minutes straight every day to try and get play coins faster so i could buy the fortune cookies from the shop lol. the grind was real to try and get the entire twilight princess link's outfit, midna's mask, the triforce, fi's mask, and majora's mask from those stupid cookies.

i know this post is several months old but i had to reply - THE SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED TO MY BROTHER
if i recall correctly, this happened in 2015 or 2016 and this random kid wanted to buy my brother's crown but first he claimed that he had to "try it on" then swiftly left our server maybe you and my brother are victims of the same thief.

my brother was so mad that he told our mom and she was like "this is why you don't play with strangers."

Oh my god. This was me. I swear this was me. I remember BAWLING my eyes out in Animal Crossing (on the game cube!) when one of my villagers moved out. I was do devastated I couldn't even eat that night. I just cried.

Clearly that was the moment that started this Animal Crossing addiction of mine.

being able to do the public works projects was so revolutionary for me i loved it and i really love the main steet area. that game was my life at the time lol i didnt miss a single day for the first several months

The funny thing is my most distinct memory isn't even from Animal Crossing or New Leaf. It's from Smash Brothers 4. Whenever the NewLeaf stage was used the battle ost that played was 7PM. So when I did finally get the game in like Christmas of 2015? I was hit with nostalgia from a game I just started to play when I heard 7PM playing for the first time LOL.
