Yeah.. for myself atm it's the orchid mantis and tarantula/scorpion. The former because I never get them and I jav a crapton of white purple/white flowers already.. might just move a few to a place where I can see better ._.

Also those night creepers because they never show up.. and I think I have quite a few open areas as well idek.

And I never got stringfish I think back in the "days" so...

Tarantula and scorpion on Wild World. Scared the hell out of me the first time I saw one due to wearing headphones and hearing the noise of it scuttling about and OH MY GOD MY CHARACTER'S DEAD! Still not caught either of them in Wild World and haven't been playing New Leaf long enough to meet either of them on there.

Dude fix your usertitle XD

Yeah they are a bit creepy I kinda like tarantulas irl though.

also saddled bichir and scarab beetle ugh..

The tarantula and scorpion scared the crap out of me as well, especially as a little kid playing WW. o_o I never played in summer during the evening... /: I still avoid them, but honesty I think I've only seen one in NL.

Everything (super) rare is just annoying to fish. I'd rather just have those fish show up a certain hour than to have my inventory filled with fish I already have.

Yeah.. even if you play during their time span a lot you have to s&c way too much ..

i probably need to cut down way more trees but i had rly bad luck with tarantula and scorpions.. like.. come on it's past whatever PM time get here...

also idek rare specifically about fishes it's more that the never show up at all.. or common fish like river ones are rare and the rare ones are common so i get a lot of like snakeheads, arowana and those.

like everyone else is saying, tarantulas and scorpions are the most annoying to catch.
fish are annoying overall because most of the time you don't know what exactly you're going to catch (a lot of fish are the same size silhouette)

ikr first time in City Folk scared the **** out of me and it made me stop playing.... this was my reaction as well... 1. i HATE spiders... 2. your character looks like he/she is dead... 3. i f-ing hate jumpscares... now that my friend has ACNL i finally got back into such a wonderful community

yeah i hate that luck when you need/don't need it and you get it. i mean i always see orchid mantises on tours but never like on island or town..

The Red King Crab is driving me NUTS! It's one of the two diving creatures I still need (the other is the spiny lobster which I have to wait to get till next year...ugh...) EVERY TIME I find a giant diving shadow it goes under the darn rope! I hope I get it soon...

omg yes why even a rope like.. dumb coding. i have three left.. sweet shrimp red king crab and spiny lobster i think but i have to wait a bit for those. ihate those that move around in turbo speed like wtf stop

The mole cricket!! It annoys me so much just thinking about it.

It took so long to dig one up as I have a lot of flowers, and the first one I found I managed to fumble. I think I only managed to catch my one for the museum because I hadn't filled up the holes I had previously dug up, so it had to turn back and run towards me. I was lucky. So lucky and relieved.

I try swimming close to the rope but they just go around me go past the rope anyways >:(

Oh yes that one took time, the sound is way too unprecise so you have to dig up your whole town ugh.

also those grasshoppers and things cause all of em look alike so you have to catch 56 of them untill you get the one ya want

The last bugs I'm missing are the tarantula and scarab beetle. I saw several different scorpions last year, but no tarantulas. Now I gotta wait. I've also never seen a scarab beetle anywhere. Ever. The spiny lobster took me a month to catch, and I've had terrible luck finding an arowana.

I had a lot of trouble the with arowana as well! If you go to the island late at night, you can find lots of scarab beetles on fruit trees!

Yeah! I'm so happy to ignore those mole cricket noises now since I've caught it.

The most annoying fish for me would have to be the char and the salmons. They're the ones that needs to be caught by the waterfall, and sometimes they swim right into the waterfall so you can't angle your fishing rod and catch then. So they're just there and nothing can re-spawn. I had to throw fish at them. What made it worse was the positioning of my waterfall, so sometimes I had to walk back up the ramp and back to the top of the waterfall to be able to reach it. So annoying.
