No offense, but I'll never understand people who grind hours like an achievement. I've played 610 hours and that's an average of 6 hours a day, which is also bad. Having the Switch open and on for 12 hours a day seems pointless. The game came out 2,400 hours ago if anyone's interested.

For me it is mostly just the fact that sometimes I enjoy having the game run in the background while i do other things, so i can listen to the hourly music, and have the something nice looking running on my television.

Yeah, I can understand leaving Animal Crossing open on your table while doing stuff or watching TV, but 12 hours a day is still a lot.
The people who do it on Steam have a program running on their PC and have 10,000 hours in every single one of their games.

I mean I was thinking the same thing. I was thinking "dang only 420 hours? My villagers deserve better" then I instantly thought "I spent 420 hours on this game that's bad. But at least I didn't waste my precious hours on this game. I have better things to do and my mom can't really say I play too much,"
Edit: Game systems have a life too. I gotta some times let this boy just chill.

4-6 hours a day does sound a lot, but I guess that most people play multiple times a day so I guess it's still pretty reasonable.

I mean I do that. I'll write my book then play acnh. Stay on this forum then go play or i'll play after I work,, I kinda just mix this game in with other things.

Corona lock downs definitely have a lot to do with this right now. I work everyday almost since I'm considered essential still. Not that I mind since it's a paycheck while others are struggling.

Yeah that too,, I still work because my Boss was given the go to open up again. I wasn't working for like a month. Thank the Lord i'm only kid with no bills yet

Currently logged in at 535 hours since launch. I've been doing a lot with it lately lol.

I like my playtime to be 100% accurate, so I never let it idle when I'm not actively playing. I think I have around 385 the last time I checked.
