OK, so far we've seen one new flower type in the second trailer they showed us in the direct. If they were to add more, what would you like to see? I'm hoping we might get some daisies or some other unique flower like dahlias or primroses. Those would be so pretty. Also, if there was new flower colors of the ones we already have, what would you like? I heard there was blue cosmos in the first game, so those would be nice to introduce again. :)

Kind of like there are in the first game, I hope some of the flowers are multi-colored. I remember seeing some blue and yellow pansies and wish those were in NL.

Ooh! That would be amazing!

I'm just concerned about no beautiful town ordinance.
I literally don't have time to water flowers. That would be a huge step backwards for this series.

I would love sunflowers, too! And maybe wheat plants? Or what about the ability to plant vegetables and make a vegetable garden in the same way you would plant a turnip, only without the time traveling consequences.

I'd love to see a lot more color variety for flowers, too, like red violets, pink pansies, green cosmos, ect. I thought blue cosmos were a thing in New Leaf, but when I looked it up it wasn't? :(

I would love for them to expand the hybreeding mechanics of the game. It has always been one of my favourite features. I also hope they redesign violets and lilies. They don't look very pretty in ACNL.

As far as specific wishes go—I'd really like to see more "wild' looking flowers and plants.
What I mean by that is ones that are less manicured, and fit well into a more natural environment (rather than in a perfectly groomed flower bed). Sunflowers, poppies, foxgloves, bluebells etc. I'd love to see them strewn throughout my forests, or grow in quaint but messy country gardens.
(I'm already ecstatic about the new weeds, since some of those fit into that category ♥)

In terms of color I don't have any real preferences/wishes, though I do think it would be nice if there were different shades of the same color (either within the same type of flower, or between the different types). That way there would be more visual variety when pairing flowers together, even if they all fit one color theme.

Aw really? I can agree somewhat about the lily design, but the violets are probably my favorite!

I think the ones you are talking about are the blue and yellow pansies from Pocket Camp. Multicolored flowers would be pretty neat if there are in the game. :)

I agree. I really liked the beautiful town ordinance as it helped so much and allowed me to only water the flowers I did want to breed with.

Sunflowers would be lovely. Also, I agree with daises, that would be a nice choice too.

Yes, I was thinking about sunflowers too. They would make a nice addition to the game, at least I think. :)

Red violets, pink pansies, and green cosmos would be really cool. The pink pansies would be my new favorite if they were added to the game. ^-^

Yeah, wild flowers would be really unique and I would totally go for that. Having a full forest of them would be nice. ^^

I think the issue for me was coming from City Folk with a couple of flower types that were all quite unique. I found the new flowers severely cluttered my town. From what we have seen from NH so far, we won’t start with as many flowers, which could be a nice change.

I'm not too into plants so I'm not picky about what flowers they might introduce or what colors they might add. I'll probably just be content with whatever, whether there are more or not. That said, even though it won't happen, I'd personally like to be able to grow multiple rafflesia and not have it tied to having a terrible, underdeveloped or neglected town. I like the way they look.

They did show new flowers in the latest direct, it was once of the first clips we saw. There's definfitey going to be new flowers and I bet more colors too.

hmmm i would love morning glories but they are a vining flower instead of a regular one sadly... poppies, marigolds, foxgloves, hyacinths, daffodils and angel trumpets as well for a nice new bigger flower :)

both~ New flower colours would be amazing as well as new flower types! It would also encourage new tbt collectables but that is merely a bonus. It would allow a wider scope of possibility to designing our islands, to be able to theme more (ie; Zen, rainbow etc)

I'm hoping they add some really uncommon and obscure flowers like Passion Flowers, Dancing Girls, and Corpse Lillies to name a few. They already have the Rafflesia, so why not add a couple more? It IS a tropical deserted island.

I also hope the event flowers from ACPC are included but something tells me they probably will be exclusive to the app. Maybe not strawberries or sunflowers but 'made up' flowers like lollipoppies and featherblooms. They're not real so maybe they think they don't belong in a mainline game? Idk

I hope the weeds aren't considered weeds in this game if that makes since. They look like tiny flowers growing to me and they're really cute to add to your town but you can't get a perfect town that way. :(

Just to add on what I originally posted, I would love some more tropical flowers since it is a tropical island. I would aldo love bushes with more flowers on them. I want big poofy floral hydrangeas, not a regular bush with a few flowers dotted here and there. I was never really big on the public works projects like statues, but I loved filling my towns with flowers.

Not really flowers, but I hope they bring over the birch trees from pocket camp, and possibly sunflowers in the same sort of range as bamboo shoots.
