Monochromatic themed town and villagers!

I'm hoping to reset my cycling town soon and I was toying with the idea of having a monochromatic town where all the villagers are the same/or about the same color. Like, pink. (It's not my most favorite color, but there's not many turquoise colored villagers aside from Skye. Pink comes in a close 3rd to black.) I have an abundance of pink villagers and I thought it would be kind of cute? But I guess it could be kind of lame too.

Like, I already have Vladimir, Cookie, Marcie, and I can re-find Flora.

This sounds really cool. A blue theme would be cool. There are a few blue ones. Or green.

As for pink, Gayle might work. Pinky, Midge, Fuchsia, Freckles, Puddles....so many pink ones o.o

My villagers are mostly white or blue[bam]/light blue kinda?? [like.. Julian and Skye]
And like some are light pink

That sounds like a very creative idea! Gayle is the only pink villager in my town, but there are so many in the entire world of Animal Crossing. You can just look them up if you really want to know all of them!

I want to make a Black and White town based on the old Fred Astair and Ginger Rogers movies. Elegant, ball-roomish and with a 1930's feel. I don't know if I can make that happen at all! Still, it will be fun to try.

It seems like you already have some great ideas for villagers and pink and blue will work nicely. Lame? I don't think so! It will only be lame if YOU think so. It's your town, remember, and it will reflect what you enjoy. I think you should go for it and have fun. You have some great ideas and suggestions already.

That's a idea I've never actually heard. I'd go for the idea, with black over pink. Pink doesn't seem like the best color to go with that town type idea sorta thing.

I really wanted to do black, but I'm only keen on a few of the darker villagers and most of them are in my Stephen King/Chernobyl town. I wish there was more turquoise villagers or something.

i like this idea!!! i sort of wanted to do a purple town, but i don't think that there were enough villagers so i kinda gave up on that idea lol.

For a while I had a pink and blue town: Freya, Meringue, Skye, Francine, Chrissy, Ed, Snake, Broccolo, Bruce, and Cherry. They looked pretty cute together

I would love a whole town of painted/exotic villagers, but after Genji, Marcel, Pekoe, Ankha and maybe Astrid I run out of ideas.
