Missing villagers?

So, yesterday I went on a mini-spree of adopting villagers from other towns - three total. Today, only one of them had set up a plot. I TT'd to tomorrow to see if another would show up, and it did, but it wasn't one of the villagers I'd spoken to yesterday - are you only able to queue up one at a time? Are my other two lost forever or are they still on their way, anyone have any idea how that works?

Probably should have checked before I started throwing down bells in exchange for dreamies too... le sigh.

You can only invite 1 villager at a time. Once they have plotted, you can invite another. Otherwise, the next villager you invite overwrites the previous one, so you'll only get the one you invited last

I've done that before too, it really sucks >_<
