Are you missing any personalities from your island or are you somebody who is keen to have at least one of all?

I’ve got every personality apart from Jock. I’ve tried but the endless sweat talk drives me nuts!

For the longest time, I've had at least one of each personality among my residents. But things are changing.

This is because I am becoming less and less fond of the normal personality. It's bland and uninteresting to me. So I'm starting to think that, eventually, I will not have the normal personality and maybe 2 or 3 of the lazy, cranky or sisterly type. Then I'd have one of each of smug, snooty, jock and peppy.

Yesterday, my only normal resident, Coco, left. Tomorrow I'll have 2 lazy, 2 cranky, 2 peppy, 2 smug, a jock and a sisterly. I'll see how that works out. It's something new for me. I'm just a little worried that having two peppy residents will drive me a little nuts. If it doesn't work out, I'll be looking for a snooty to replace the peppy.

i used to care about having at least one of each personality but it doesn’t bother me now; once i’ve unlocked anything that comes from specific personalities, i’ll choose whatever villagers i want and won’t be too concerned with personalities.

rn, i’m missing a smug villager; i’ll need to have one at some point so that i can unlock the last reaction i need. once i have that, i’ll be going smug-free as they’re my least favourite personality and i’m not super fond of their dialogue aha >_<

I use to have one of each but I've got all the reactions already so now I avoid jock and sisterly villagers, can't stand all the muscle talk from jocks and I feel sisterlys sometimes come across as a bit rude.

I will only care about personality till I get the last of my reactions, then it will be appearance preference that decides my villagers

I'm missing a jock, which is my least favourite personality to interact with. I'm in no rush to move one in, since I've gotten all the reactions and desired DIY recipes from them.

I'm making use of this to try getting Rudy/Sprocket/Dom from my campsite. It's proving difficult since there are 50+ jock villagers, not many of which whose designs I find interesting, and even fewer from that pool whose hobby is something other than fitness. 🤷‍♀️

I'm missing uchi, i had tammie as my starter and she was okay but i let her move when she asked. i havent encountered any other uchis i really like. i wish they would have focused on adding more smug and uchi villagers in NH as there are so few of them.

I try not to get any smug or jock villager in my island.

Honestly, I didn't bother to have each personality in my island. Other than unlocking "reactions," I don't see any value getting them all.

I kept all the personalities initially, but I have all the reactions now so I let my uchi go

uchi is probably the only one I’ll be missing since they’re my least favorite personality and I have so many favorites of other personalities

i do want one of every personality on my island but I'm currently missing snooty and jock. at one point I had five normals but the dialogue is repetitive and, esp for normals, can be boring. i have a normal moving out tomorrow tho so I'm gonna look for a snooty to replace her.

Honestly, I do not like Jocks in New Horizons but I'm likely going to 'keep' one for the DIYs in the end.

I'm not a huge fan of the Cranky's designs but I need one to complete my reactions and for the DIYs. I can't decide who I'd want to leave and once they left who I'd even bring in. I've been thinking of getting some amiibos so I can cycle through a Cranky faster!

currently i'm missing normal and uchi. i don't really want at least one of every personality on my island because once i complete all reactions and diys i probably end up not keeping any sisterly villager.

I always have one of each, the dialogue gets ridiculously boring to me otherwise, though it kinda is anyway in this game :/
For personalities I’m less fond of I tend to choose a design which makes me find it cute. For example I’m not super fond of jocks, but I have chosen Scoot as my jock and I think he’s great because he’s a tiny duck and I’m just imagining that he’s talking about nonsense to try and seem cool but he’s really just a tiny ducky

I also only have one duplicate per personality for the ‘bonus’ villagers, so 9 and 10, I have one snooty and one normal because those designs are my favourites

I tend to keep one of each personality type just for different dialogue. I just recently got a smug villager after not having on since April. I don't really dislike any of the personality types in the game, so I'll probably continue to keep having at least one of each. My duplicate personalities will be cranky and lazy. If I end up not liking having a second lazy, I'll probably move in another snooty or normal villager.

I’m missing a smug at the moment. I’m still missing some reactions and such, so at some point, I suppose I ought to bring another smug into my island, but I’m not all that eager to have anyone leave right now. I’ll give it a month or two with my current set of villagers and see how I feel.

I do wish we had more villagers. Even twelve would really help with balance, as it would allow me a little more flexibility for duplicate personalities while still making sure to have someone of every personality type.

I have at least one villager for each personality. But since Wendy left, I desperately needed a new peppy villager. Fortunately, Audie was in my campsite, and though it took over an hour, she replaced Snooty, who I wanted to leave the most at the time.

i haven't had a snooty villager in months. will have one soon! marina 1 of my 2 normals asked to move out yesterday, and i feel it's finally time to let her go. her starter house is not it anyway.

I have at least one of each now (also an addition Normal and Peppy) which is how I wanted it. I originally planned to have at least one of each, but I started to get annoyed with jocks as many people are. I was considering getting rid of Kid Cat after I got his photo, but now that I have it he grew on me too much.
