Missing villager personalities

i recently let Kabuki go, to move in Pashmina from the campsite. I really really loved him, and i still think his design is one of the best in the game. But i realized i never really wanted to go talk to him, though with the other villagers, even my current 3(!) peppies i do enjoy it. I don't dislike the cranky personality exactly, but i just don't find it as interesting as the others. Kabuki also didn't seem to do as much stuff as some of my other villagers, but that might also be just because i stopped searching him out as often as i do the others. it was so sad, because i really wanted to love him!

I'm going to go cranky-less for the time being and see how that goes. I have all the reactions, so the only thing i may have trouble with is getting certain DIYs. I want to have 2 of at peppy and sisterly types permanently, so not having a cranky also gives me more leeway to cycle through more different villagers.

I had one of each. The original 5 that moved in, an extra smug, an extra lazy that replaced my first campsite smug, and then a repeat normal and a snooty and cranky. After getting a decent amount of pictures I decided it was time to start rotating. I had Erik in my campsite and I just couldn't say no, but the only villager I was ok getting rid of and that I had the picture of was Wendy, my one peppy. So... I ended up having 3 lazies and no peppy for a while.

Since then I've done a little more moving out and letting go of villagers, and now I've replaced Marina with Puddles (and been called a heretic for it haha).

So yeah, I like to in general try to keep at least one of each personality. Despite my current town situation, I don't want to have more than 2 of the same personality.

I have one of each and then two peppys and two normals. I like having at least one of each personality type, having more dialogue variety makes the game more fun imo

I'm currently missing a smug and a snooty. I prefer to have a least one of each type but I get all my villagers through island hopping or the campsite and sometimes when I've been doing it for a while I just end up taking any cute villager regardless of their personality type.

Ugh I’m missing a lot of personalities. I have 3 jocks right now and it’s definitely too many jocks. But working on using Amiibo to get the villagers I want. My dream team has at least one of every personality type.

We don't have any Snooty or Smug villagers, if we had to pick one of each we'd probably go with Julia and Julian, but there we other villages we liked more ;w;

I like to have at least one of each. I'm not a fan of Jocks either but I'm probably going to try to have at least one for now. Maybe later in the game I'll stop having Jocks (I'm pretty sure I did this on NL at one point) but right now I'm happy with seeing all the dialogue in the game.

I've not got any snooty's because I havent had much luck finding any of my favourites. I dont have an uchi because other than Mina, not one design is compelling to me.

I'll probably get those two in the end, but the jocks are woeful in this game and if Jitters wasn't based on a footballer, hed of left my island very long ago.

I used to want all personalities and genders represented equally but not so much anymore. I kind of want a half normal half lazy island by the end.

i like to have one of each just for varietys sake! i also tend to split my island evenly with female/male villagers. as much as i dislike jocks, listening to the muscle talk come out of tad's froggy mouth doesn't seem so unbearable

I have every type! Frankly, I actually like every personality- even ones other find annoying (I don't get the jock hate, TBH- and some people dislike sisterlies but they're probably my top favorite personality, followed by cranky) I love because they make nostalgic. I just couldn't handle not having one of the types, it'd bug me! I also currently have a spare normal and a spare smug. But the spare smug (Julian) is free to leave whenever! But I'll be hanging on to both Maple and Marina for awhile

It also wasn't until I came on this forum that I found out... some people DON'T have every personality. It was just a totally foreign concept to me
