Missing blue roses??

So I was planting blue roses, and my stupid villager started planting right on the block I was placing the blue rose and now its gone? Like they merged or something. I know I can't get it back now but is this a common glitch? or does animal crossing just hate me.

I can say I definitely never had that happen to me. It's probably just a game glitch, did you try picking up the flower that the villager planted. Maybe if you pick it up your blue rose will magically reappear

i already tried that i was walking over them and they flashed blue/white for a while (the villager planted a white tulip) but oh well ill just have to make more
