Auction Miss Panda's Art Auction~!

Munching Gardettos tonight. They go good with orange juice, oddly enough. : )

What are those anyway? :O Never heard of them. Well, maybe I have, but didn't know what they were called. But, who knows. :3

You're consistently makin' bank in these auctions. XD

High bid! : )

They're a snack food! Think like... trail mix, almost, but specifically with bread items. They originated from the "Gardetto Family Bakery" back in 1932, which specialized in making Italian-style breads. Apparently the snack was born from them cutting the end off of the breadsticks/loaves to even them out, adding other snacks to it and making a mix out of it. The snack consists of rye chips, pretzels, the breadstick bits, and some other kind of cooked bread snack bits, too. They also used to have one with sesame seed bread bits in it but have since taken them out. Anyway, explanation aside, I love them to death. They're one of my favorite snack foods. It's a shame more people haven't heard of them. I don't think it's a local snack or anything. I remember seeing them on the shelf when I was visiting in Seattle, WA, too. So I dunno. I could be wrong!

Oh! For some reason that reminds me of Chex mix. Not the same thing, but they have some similar things in it, from what I can remember. And I love that stuff... when I have it. I definitely should see if I can find it in my local supermarket. It sounds like something I'd like. OMG, now I want bagel chips... XD

It is kind of similar to Chex Mix in a way! In my honest opinion, though, I think Gardettos handle the baking of the snack with more... finesse, I suppose? Their spices aren't as overpowering as I tend to find some of the stuff they use in Chex Mix. That's just my opinion, though!

I really like your art style, good luck on your auction!! <: Someday, I hope to request art from you. ;_____;

Thanks a lot! : ) That's really nice of you to say. And I'm glad you like it!

I suppose being new, you've never seen one of buuunii's art auctions. XD
Not a problem at all. <: Bump dance before I hit the hay for the day!
