Misread isabelle's warning that a villager was moving [problem]

So stupid me mistook her warning of "somoenes moving tomorrow" and I thought that mean they were boxing up tomorrow. SO I saved, TTd to tomorrow, and they were gone. I shut it off without saving and went back to today and..the villager is gone..

Anyway to undo this or...am I screwed

It was a villager i intended on trading that i didnt like so its not a huge deal.

When you lose a villager (that you liked), it would take 16 villagers to move before there's any chance of them moving in again.

thats really weird bc i had the same problem (well i tted past the moving date) and they were gone?? (it was ankha oops) and it was a really big trade. however i freaked out and tried tting to their moving day and ankha was still there packing.. uhh im not sure what i did but this sucks

Do you know who you were going to be trading with? If so and you know the person has room in their village, go an visit them. Unclaimed villagers that moved very frequently move into a village you visit, even though they're no longer in your game and the person you're visiting did not invite them or ever speak to them. I've had three uninvited villagers from people visiting who just had a villager move that did not get an invitation to another village.

If you didn't already street-pass someone, who now may get this lost villager, and if you didn't visit anyone else's town who had fewer than ten villagers, there is still a strong possibility that the villager can still be claimed.
