As an update... still plot resetting for Rocco and working on some new graphics for the new thread. I hope I can have Rocco in place before I go to bed or else I'm gonna have to set the clock back.
For the new thread, I'll have it ready to go at some point tomorrow, so keep an eye out here for the new link for 3.0.

Ok, so hubby fell asleep while we were watching a movie and I thought I'd better get on here and put in my 2 cents worth before we start a new thread.
I personally started cycling so I could return the favor and help get people their dreamies. I wanted yo do this because SO many people helped me furnish my kids dream villagers. Luckily, because they are all young , their dreamies were mainly auto voids. (Penguin town, hippo + nibbles town, monkey- now changing yo batman town, and there's no rhyme or reason to my daughter's town.) I originally had a holding town as we'll, but after holding villagers for weeks- a month with no word from (most) of the peoples I was holding for, I decided to do away with it. I luv these ladies that I cycle with. They are giving, thoughtful and generous.
We DO have rules. These rules are to help all of those trying to get their dreamies. We do check into people for questionable reasons, because we have been burned in the past. All we want, is to make people happy. We want these luved pixelated friends to go to someone that truly wants them with no alterior motives because we luv this game and we luv you guys. We WANT to help make your towns complete. We understand accidents happen and sometimes they can't be helped because they've happened to us!!! But if we se someone who is questionable, we DO tend to bypass them. You've heard the saying burn me once shame on me burn me twice shame on you. We pay attention and we're not sorry for that. Sorry ladies, I know I'm being presumptuous speaking for all of us, but we want to enjoy doing this for you guys. Some are making it difficult and that's not fair to the rest of you.
With our new shiny thread we will get a new start and hopefully much less drama. PLEASE, if you have a problem, take it up in a pm. Not on our thread. All it causes is much unneeded drama, and makes the 6 of us less likely to want to cycle. I personally did not cycle today because if the BS drama we were dealing with. If you do not like our methods, by all means, don't lurk on our thread. There are PLENTY of other cycling threads on this board. I personally do not have time for all this complete juvenile bull $#!+ I have 4 kids to take care of, my wonderful husband, and 2 part time jobs. I also have 7 copies of this game. My 3 and my kids' 4 which I try to help them out as much as I can when they are grounded from games, by opening their towns and talking to all their villagers so when they are able to play, they haven't lost all the dreamies I took so long trying to find, moving away. Please do us the courtesy of taking the time to read our rules. We take the time to get you your beloved pixel babies so you can have your perfect towns.
Ok off my soap box. Also please excuse my autocorrect, I am mobile, so there is no telling what my phone is actually typing. Yay new iPhone 5 c!!!

Now I feel even worse about all this drama about Stitches. Every time I see him in my town I am reminded about the dramatic circumstances it created when I adopted him. I know it was not my fault or anyone's fault or intention, but this is hurting me. So now I feel the need to give Stitches away again to someone else. Like you guys say, some times you can change your mind for various reasons, but at least I would like to honour your generosity and rules and give him away like you did for me. I am thinking about giving him to one of the ones who have him as a dreamie in Melleias raffle thread for him so that two of them find him. Would that be okay with you, or do you want to take him back? I just feel like part of this drama is because of me...

And I totally understand why you have the rules you do! I have been totally fooled on this site once, and it was during Christmas this year. I accidentaly won two Julians in one day, through a raffle giveaway and through an auction, so to honour the auctioneer I wanted to still buy Julian for 13 mill, but let the runner up in the raffle I won adopt him. And what do you think happened? I payed the 13 mill, but the person who was promised to pick up Julian did not get him, because a new user with closely the same name came and got him. That hurt for a long time, when all you are trying to do is a favour for someone. So yeah, I totally understand why you guys are cautious. Hope your new thread starts off in the best way and you don't experience more of this

I don't know the people who entered that raffle really :/, I'd rather know who he was going to, or you keep him.
Not going to take sides or anything, but I think it's perfectly(and to me much preferred) that one have a bit more 'strict' rules so to say so you know what you are going into when you are entering a thread. And if the owners wants to reserve or deny you a villager, they have the right to. Like, don't feed the trolls(or whining babies) so they learn to read and not getting upset again. And I don't know about the drama, but I would probably get slightly annoyed if I had to explain rules and such 95 times to everyone.
That said, continued good luck with your thread and thanks for doing it, it can easy become tiring if all you get is people who can't read and gets drama.
