Minor things included in update?

yeah! i got it awhile ago on my first save file (had to restart cause glitch) but i'm guessing it has something to do with how much times you use nook shopping on the terminal and/or how much you spend

edit: what they said

What glitch caused you to restart your game? :o

i was trading judy for bonbon, and the person had bonbon's amiibo, they were scanning villagers willy nilly bc they were trading with someone else too i guess, they glitched their own villager in the process (lucky) but apparently bonbon was fine, so i came to invite her and everything seemed normal until i went back to my island and found out the plot was reserved for cherry who wasn't even on the island to begin with. so a glitched cherry moved in - i never saw her, her plot was permanently useless saying "i've moved out"

Great. I'm one of the people that doesn't TT. And I've been keeping over a million bells in my savings to get something decentish for interest. They decreased it? Well.. yeah, now what's the point?

Now you see the problem with time traveler? It always affect non-tters. TTers saying it doesn't affect anyone is flat out wrong and same as those defending TTers.

It is what is is. I'm not sure how much of a difference it will make, but I'm sure we'll be fine. TT'ers can still exploit interest either way, even if slower.

There are still plenty of good ways to earn bells, including the Stalk Market.

That's not how it works. Only affects non-TTers because Nintendo decides to do things that negatively impacts non-TTers. Don't blame the players who decide to play the game their way. Nintendo themselves even said that they do not hold any bad will towards people who time travel, but that they do think the game is best played under standard conditions. But they weren't judging people for it, as it's really up to the player to decide how they want to play the game.

It's the same kind of thing when the middle class people beat on the lower class for the benefits they get from the taxes the middle class pays, when it's the top 1% and corporations that really get the vast majority of tax benefits. Don't beat up the little guy.

I don't do online stalk market, that thing is broken. Though the turnip rate on your own island is also pathetic as well so I don't know.

What do you mean by broken? If you mean because people charge high fees to go on their island, there are people who do that for free. I always have, and always will. I just use a Discord server that I'm on to post and find people, and it works out pretty well for me. I've sold turnips on my own island for... I think it was 439 bells each. And the last time I did was only at 159, but that's still a decent rate of return on an investment (over 60% profit).

This was a perfectly timed explaination for why my player wasn't playing anything. I was SO wishing it was something like this I'm kind of amazed it happened.

apparently idk how to quote on mobile but regarding music players...

The interest rate decrease I don't understand... The amount of bells players got was already low enough, now it's probably negligible.

If this was Nintendo having a go at time travelers they're certainly missing the point and it's only effecting people who don't time travel.

Edit: the bell bag rug we got is super cool though xD
They could do something else to combat this, I used to play a game called Yo Kai Watch and you could do certain amount of things per day and if the game detects you changing the 3ds clock you would lose those privileges, they could do the same here.

I don't know if this was a thing already (also I have a Switch Lite), but I can now type on the keyboard with the touchscreen.
