They're finally gonna release it within the week, and I'm pumped. I watched the twitch stream of Microsoft showcasing the features after it was live, and was excited of the actual proof of all of the 1.8 things being added to console editions. Especially slime blocks (for redstone mechanics) and new biomes.
Last time I played Minecraft on my laptop it crashed it, so I stick to Xbox 360 only anymore, and I've been waiting for this for a long time. What really upsets me is how I'll probably never see command blocks. They're in the source code, and there's proof they're eventually possibly gonna be added, but at this rate they'll be released when Minecraft 2.0 is made.
So... are you excited about it, and if so, what things are you looking forward to/not when it's released?
