Today, I added a new Price + Desciption feature, so these screenies are officialy incorrect, out-of-date, and old. New ones coming tommorow when the demo is released.

Demo Version 1.0 is now open to the public. Comes in a .ZIP folder, estimated 1.47 MB size, comes with .Exe and a .Txt Read Me file. Enjoy and rate. Also added 3 new screenies that are totally up-to-date.

Either buy a Pearl, or, your creature will evolve and start to drop money signs that create profit. In this demo, it'll evolve twice, it should evolve after maybe, 5-6 minutes the first time.

add maybe..
- Some kind of house, like a fish house
- A way to fix the wall stick glitch
- Maybe have the ZIP file come with a folder called saves, and have it save there by defult if possible...

Yeah, I was aware of the wall-stick glitch. That'll be fixed next time around.

Apperently it's worse then sticking to the wall... after a while it will go compleetly though it, and start floating around there. When it goes off one side it will reappere on the other

Yeah, the creature wraps in both directions, just in case something happens like that, so you won't lose it.

I got a different level two this time... its a stick. The other time it was like the first, but with 3 things insted of 4.
This one has worse power, but better intelligence and charm.
and now level 3 looks sorta like a fish
so what does the rare level 2 look like?

An are you sure thing for when you buy stuff (i just accedentally wasted 300 on color changer, I hit cancel then had to fix it)
And another way to make money.
Oh yeah, and when I try to load my game the files don't show up, so I have to type in the file name

hmm... scratch the thing about another way to make money, I have more then I need.
At this point I don't even have to do anything... food is taken care of, and I get money really fast.
Anyway, this game is awsome. I can't wait untill a newer version is ready

Woah, that last screenie makes me feel great, ZF104. It makes me know people will actually play it. (The level 2 rare creature is a secret. ) In the next version, you can look for at LEAST 5 more buyable items, each will have an effect, like the Feeder Coral and Pearl. Also, bug fixes, 2 more levels, 5 more evolutions for level 3, and possibly a mini-game to up your stats.
EDIT: The mini-games will offer money and stat upgrades- also, I'm not sure I can change the file thing.. It's just my engine.. I'll try and fix it.
EDIT 2: What I really want to know is the FPS rates you are all getting. (The number in the upper-left corner.)

Hrmmm. It's very time consuming which makes it fun when you are board. I'm level 2 right now and I have a few suggestions.
^_^
- Make a border on the top to reduce chances of Pet going off-screen.
- Try and fix the glitches. I know it's only a beta.
- Have an ability to have more than one pet on a screen. It'll add more use to the select button.

Yeah, the stick glitch is totally fixed. No worries about that in the next demo. Since I can see that is extremely annoying, I'll try and get the next demo out ASAP.

Also, I'll be making a website where people can upload and trade their creatures, but that'll come with time- if you'd like to compare and trade, use a file upload service or Photobucket.
I'm open to suggestions for items.
