Megaphone Mishaps

I need to find Skye because she asked for a favor, but every time I call for her, Diva answers. I've tried about ten times now, but every time, Diva responds—despite the fact that Skye's name is nowhere near hers. It's not even the same amount of syllables!

Has anyone else had weird issues with the megaphone? If I were to speak any louder I'd be yelling into my tiny 3DS mic, but I'm not sure if that's what's necessary. So what about you guys?

About 75% of the time when I use the microphone, someone other than the person I am calling answers...annoying!

Kapp'n answers back almost always. Or someone that is nowhere to what I just said/pronounced. I rarely use a megaphone, especially for the more complicated named villagers. If they have a short and easy name like Kyle, it's great. Something like Felicity? Good luck!

Honestly, I think they shouldn't had bothered with the megaphone at all. The coding they probably had to do for voice recognition and everything else about the megaphone could had easily/timely been used to instead make a in-map villager locator. Where the villager's name on the map is. One click would show the house. Two clicks would pop up a little 'they are here' indicator.

Also, my game always thinks I'm calling for a snowman...why? None of the villagers are even close to that.

lol! i never have issues calling villagers ecept rare occasions. It's strange that you all do, I think Kapp'n needs heaps of attention lol!

Nope. They only tell you where they are...If they are actually outside and not inside.

It always happens when I call out intricate names and the wrong villager answers. Then I get self conscious that my pronunciation is wonky.

But you can't find Tammi, so you call for her and you get Tammy each time.

This happened to me in a town I had a very long time ago (I didn't keep the town because I hated the layout)

I've pretty much given up on trying to call O'Hare and Agnes... those two are ridiculously hard to call for some reason ^^;
