so I'm going to start a dream town review thread!

however, instead of rating your whole town, I'll mainly ask that you list at max 2 things you want me to focus on. If your town is just starting out, please don't ask me to give opinions and ideas about everything, I don't have time sorry;;; plus I think it's more helpful for me to give detailed advice on specific things you're looking to improve instead of very general statements about your whole town!

Paths:
- I like the choice of the brown brick paths, they're really cute and the fact that the heart in the center of them matches the hearts in the grass patterns is a nice touch!
- personally I don't like paths that don't have borders, maybe find something that can border the paths, if not then border them with trees/bushes so that the lack of a border is hidden? near your town hall, you bordered your paths with the grass paths, and I thought that made it look a lot neater.
- your placement of the grass pattern is a bit random sometime, ie it'll be randomly on the edge of the path pattern, so I'm not sure if that was intentional or not lol;;
- more diversity in the pathing maybe? esp for the ones that are only 1x1 big, you could try and make natural dirt paths or use ones that emulate natural paths like these:

or you can just google something like dirt path, a lot come up lol

House:
Main Room:
- Each corner seems to have it's own little thing going on atm? I really like your kitchen corner, and I think the music suits the room well.
- If you want to keep that kitchen area in your main room, then I think the alpine piece (with the blue) would fit well with it overall. It looks nice with the current wall and flooring as well; once you expand your house you could also simply dedicate an entire room to a kitchen/dining area.
- It'd be nice if you had more gorgeous items to match the current ones in your room, but I'm assuming you don't due to monetary constraints.
- Bottom area seems a bit random atm? Not sure what you were going for there or it's just being used as storage atm lol. You have a few plants in the bottom left, maybe add more plants and get rid of the big easter island head? Or add another easter island head for symmetry?

Second Floor:
- cute little bedroom!
- I think you used the small space really well
- not a fan of the music/wall, I don't think they suit the gorgeous/princess set very much? Also the princess and pave set seem to work well so far, I think it might be easier for you to focus on using two sets in a room instead of three.

overall I think you have a nice start on your town so far!

General Theme:
From the pink paths I take it that you're going for a fairytale theme? correct me if I'm wrong lol
- paths work really well!! you have a nice variety and they all fit well together
- more pink/white flowers to accent the paths would be nice!
- also I think your town would look lovely during cherry blossom season, if you don't want to TT then maybe more peach trees would be nice? I don't think pink paths work that well during autumn when the greenery starts turning brown, so you might wanna consider using more neutral paths as the seasons progress as well.

Elise's House:
Exterior:
- really lovely fairytale exterior that works nicely with its surroundings!
- maybe the castle renovation would fit the exterior a bit better?

Main Room:
- princess set room! layouting is nice
- I'm guessing the throne is to fit in with the princess/royalty theme, but considering how blue/pale the rest of the room is it kind of stands out. I'm not sure if this was your intention, but if you want it to blend in more, maybe add more red/white/gold accents around the room? like the lucky cat and whatnot

Right Room:
- pink rococo room! I had a similar room before hehe
- I like the symmetry, though it'd be nice if you had 1 gold and 1 silver trophy on both sides, instead of 2 golds on one and 1 gold 1 silver on the other lol
- cacao tree doesn't really look like it belongs?
- I think the sweets player would look nicer than the current one you have in the room.
- maybe use villager pictures with pink/white frames? like Tom's pic that you have in the left room.

Left Room:
- Halloween room!
- again, symmetry in back in nice.
- maybe use some creepy items in here as well once you get them?
- a bit empty feeling atm, maybe leave some candies on the floor or something?

Back Room:
- gorgeous set!
- middle area feels a bit empty? maybe add something there? one of the mannequins maybe?
- I like how rich the music sounds lol
- some stuff on the walls would be nice.

Upstairs:
- wow super pink lol
- idk what else to say, it looks nice! everything seems to belong!

Basement:
- lol spoke too soon on the creepy stuff earlier! Really nice creepy basement!
- I think the witch mannequin would look nicer down here brewing up a potion in the cauldron hehe
- lava lamp seems kind of random, maybe use the candle or something more... old fashioned looking?
- music choice is great!

overall, I think your rooms are really nice and... clean? however they all feel a bit.. not lived in? idk how to explain it but they remind me of the display rooms you see when you go to open houses lol
don't be afraid to experiment with sets! you seem to only use one set for each room, and I think they'd be a lot more interesting if you mixed things up more
also you seem to like to push things against the walls, and often you end up with a large space in the middle, or just like one thing in the middle. I think you could utilize your space better if you experimented with where to place things bit!

General Theme:
- foresty/natural theme?
- if so then I think more pine trees would look nice.
- some of the PWPs are kinda random if your theme is natural? like the drilling rig and the cube structure
- if you don't want to limit yourself to one theme, you could have the top half of your town be more modern to fit the modern renovation of your town hall and whatnot, and have the bottom have be more foresty.
- flowers are a bit random at areas, maybe use more natural looking flowers like red/orange/yellow/white to blend in with the paths more.

Paths:
- nice and natural looking.
- overall seems to connect together and I didn't get lost.
- maybe use some more diverse paths? there's some areas where there's a big open space covered by paths, you could make it look less empty by maybe adding some other different path in the middle to cut it up a bit. you could also look for some 1x1 space wide dirt paths, I think those would look nice in your town (or you could make natural dirt paths).
- if you go with the modern/forest split town look, you could use grey paths for the upper half of your town, like these:

there's grey and brown ones, so maybe you could use the grey ones for the modern areas and the brown ones for the foresty areas for better cohesiveness?

General Theme:
- time of day chosen fits well with your theme!!
- also natural paths!! super impressive
- I think the general lack of flowers works really well in your town! however, I think if you had clovers and mushrooms on the ground at areas it'd look really nice!
- some spaces feel really empty/just full of trees? I think using more natural looking PWPs like the log bench and the camping related stuff would look really nice in your town! esp the log bench, if you want to break up your forests a bit you could add a log bench + some tree stumps as a nice little sitting area!
- your modern stuff were pretty far from the bridges, so I thought the bridges were a bit out of place? maybe use the brick or suspension bridges instead?
- maybe more illumination/modern PWPs near your town hall since it's renovated with the modern theme?
