Mario Party 9

Do you think it will happen? I just read that Mario Party 8 is the best selling Mario Party game and Mario Party DS has sold over 1,000,000 copies worldwide now. It seems like Mario Party games are becoming even more popular!

Actually, the more I play the DS one, the more I realize that it's the best one ever since the N64 ones...

As much as I like MP, I'm getting weary of them. THey need new boards, new modes, new characters, better graphics, and better music. Their will be a Mario Party 9, but unless it has some drastic changes I probably will not buy it.

Every Mario Party game is awesome!
I haven't played the Nintendo 64 games in the series but I enjoyed all the others.
I wish they'd come to Virtual Console next month.

Really? I found Mario Party DS to be quite boring after I completed story mode once.

I disagree. The Mario Party games are fine now but if they'd change any features, a lot of people would be disappointed. However, if they kept all the features from previous Mario Party games and added more, a lot of people would be happy.

Ah, good luck with that. >_>; The games are pretty rare, they fetch $30+ each on eBay. Best bet would be to wait until they hit the Virtual Console... can't wait to relive the memories.

It's the same junk over and over again... I have #2 and #3, and I'm fine.

If so, I completely understand.

I've checked everywhere for Mario Party, Mario Party 2, and Mario Party 3 and I can't get them for under $10.00! The cheapest I can get them for is $30.00(used) and $50.00(not used).

I sure hope they debut on Virtual Console this year.

Mario Party 6 was good but Mario Party 8 was the best because of the motion controlled minigames.

Personally I thought they were extremely gimicky, and it's one reason why I can't stand many Wii games. The problem is this game ISN'T 3rd party and it has this gimicky feel. Why Nintendo hasn't done something, I don't know.

You know... You can't take a series of games and milk them forever. Someday, the Mario Party franchise is going to die, I mean, run out of ideas, and Nintendo will have to stop producing the game. I mean, there can only be so many ways to produce a few games in the series, and then, it just gets generic.
