Mario Kart Mobile

Is anyone else excited for Mario Kart Mobile? I realize it's not going to be released for over a year from now, but I think it'll be pretty cool. I'm a bit skeptical about it as well, though, as I'm not sure how well Mario Kart will port over to mobile BUT I still think it'll be pretty cool.

There's not enough info to be hyped about this new app, for me at least. I'd wait until I hear more about this.

I really wanted Nintendo to make a main Mario Kart game for the switch. Unless this is like Animal Crossing Pocket Camp were it will have a lot of use in a future switch game, then I am not happy about this. They likely aren't making a main Switch Mario Kart if this is a big game, and considering they have announced it a year in advance, then it may very well be.

Nevertheless, if it is a main game, then here are my retro track predictions.-

Shell Cup-

1. DS Figure 8 Circuit
2. SNES Choco Island 1
3. Wii U Sunshine Airport
4. Wii Toad's Factory

Banana Cup-

1. SNES Vanilla Lake 2
2. N64 Wario Stadium
3. Wii U Super Bell Subway
4. GBA Sunset Wilds

Leaf Cup-

1. GBA Riverside Park
2. 3DS Shy Guy Bazaar
3. Wii DK Summit
4. GCN Bowser's Castle

Lightning Cup-

1. Wii Shroom Ridge

Don't worry, this isn't going to be the next main game to the series. Why would it anyway? It wouldn't make sense. If anything, it would probably play as you make your own course and share them with other players and race or time trial on it. And just like Animal Crossing, this game will probably make some connection to the next Mario Kart game, which is probably Mario Kart 9. (Deluxe is just a port, and no, no DLC yet)

doubt it'll have many stages, probably will have like 1 or 2 cups and that'll be it. Or it'll be something incredibly small, who knows. If anything, it's probably going to turn out like pocket camp and be simmered down to something incredibly simple.

They're not being ported. The games are specially made to be played on mobile devices.

i really like the idea of it, but it might be pretty difficult to try & play it on a tiny little screen + i have a feeling that you will only be able to use tilt controls :/

I guess it'd be cool? Maybe. Like N E S S said, it'll be pretty simple in comparison to the other MK games. I also probably won't be getting it.

Agreed, if they decided to use tilt controls I probably wouldn't even download it at that point lol

Tbh, I think that they'll make 8 retro tracks, and 8 new tracks. Some will probably have already been retro tracks. I like predicting for these games, so here is my new prediction-

SNES- Vanilla Lake 2
N64- Choco Mountain
GBA- Broken Pier
GCN- Waluigi Stadium
DS- Shroom Ridge
Wii- Daisy Circuit
3DS- Rock Rock Mountain or Rosalina's Ice World
Wii U- Sweet Sweet Canyon

Like I'd figured they'd save the last few N64(one) and GCN tracks for the next main game.
