Mario Kart 8

I have yet to come across a Mario Kart fan around here. I have almost all the Mario Karts. I play Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 7 very often.

So, I'd like to know if anyone's excited for Mario Kart 8. I'm very excited, I can't wait for the new tracks. The graphics are amazing. I'm very curious what Rainbow Road is going to be like, since there's anti-gravity.

I hope there's new characters. I also hope for the Baby Bros. to return.

What are your speculations? Wishes? Thoughts of the game?

I'm definitely a Mario Kart fan! And I am very excited for Mario Kart 8~ Like you, I want the baby versions of Mario and Luigi to return, and also the baby versions of Peach and Daisy. Oh, I really hope Shy Guy returns because I used him the most on MK7.

This is the only MK thread on here I know of, so maybe if this gets popular that would be a great idea. xD I have 20,000 VR on MK7 and 9999 VR on MKW. I've had MK7 since March 30th, my birthday, and I'm surprised it isn't higher than that. D: I should really work on getting it higher. xD

Same reasons as other people, I don't have a Wii U but I'm really hyped for it.

Might go buy myself a Wii U on X-Mas or something, Dunno yet.

As awesome as the game looks, it's still not enough to sell me a Wii-U. I've seen all of three titles now I'd want for Wii-U(one of which is also going to be for 3DS[Super Smash Bros]). So, while I'm a fan of the Mario Kart games, I probably won't be playing MK8 any time soon.

I'll be getting it probably...I haven't played that many Mario Kart games but I do enjoy them! Will probably pick up MK7 sometime too when I can...I'll be getting the Wii U the end of this month(the special Wind Waker HD edition, no less!! )

Recently I got one of the Mario Kart 7 trophies from the European Club Nintendo. I was 100 stars short, so I bought another game just to get it. No regrets, it looks really awesome.

I'm sure we'll have a big community here for the game when it does release, the Mario Kart 7 Game Nights were probably the most popular ones we had besides TF2. Assuming the community feature comes back for 8, we'll be sure to host game night for it too!

I have no doubt they wanted it out by the holiday, but actually playing the game it doesn't feel too rushed to me. Feels complete enough, one of my favourite Mario Karts.

Well, they eliminated the VS. option from Mario Kart DS and Wii, which I missed.
They also had lots of glitch shortcuts that were even patched Online.

Gotten rid of most characters from the Wii, no bikes.
Also noticed how much slower the karts were, even on 150cc.

Those were the signs of rush, but Mario Kart 7 is my favourite Mario Kart game.
