And there is no doubt in my mind you'd get "at least" that if you started the bidding at 1m like almost everyone else does for a popular villager. It's just that, it starting at 5m already makes people who have an interest in her shy away.

And for the rest: i'm sorry guys, but i'm really not interested in your theories about the starting bid. If someone really wants her and has the bells, they bid. Just as I bid when I see someone I really want and can afford.

Yes, I do skip willingly the 3 pages of bidding from people who just don't have 5 million at their disposal, because I don't even want them to get their hopes up with a low starting bid. My kind of auction is in fact much fairer than your system, because i say from the start what I'm actually looking for. Now you might agree or not, but this is my auction, so please discuss this somewhere else.
