Marie: The girl in need of games - PLEASE HELP

I've actually played the game and it started becoming boring at the end of chapter 4. Getting through the rest is a struggle.

Yeah, that's something I've seen mentioned a lot in the reviews I've read. I was considering picking up this game because the price had gone down on Amazon, but having to force myself to continue playing isn't my idea of fun. I'm better off doing another playthrough of Fire Emblem: Awakening.

But thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated. <3

Definitely FE:A. I got it for free because of a contest, but I would have totally buy it for full price. I've been a huge fan for years, after only playing the GBA version. FE:A is spectacular. When you're building relationships, the conversations are funny and cute too. I know I'm really biased about this series, but it'll be worth. Honestly, I'm getting bored with the game because I've restarted it so many times LOL. IMO, the replayability is low, but maybe that's just me though. Some chapters can take you a while, though. However, I really love the plot. Some twists and a few scenes made me tear up lol.

In case you're not aware, there's a best buy BOGO deal. You could get Bravely Default and LoZ: Link Between Two Worlds for only $40. I haven't played any of those two games yet, though.

I like the replayability, to make the right couples and skillsets you need to grind and play a lot. For some reason grinding in this game is less tedious then with other games. I bought all the DLC and I spent WAY to much time in it. :D

As for The Sims 3, The Sims 4 is coming out soon, so if I were you I'd wait for that (but The Sims is definitely a good series of games, I love it).

I know this isn't on your list, but Trauma Center? It's a series of five games and I love it so much.
Trauma Center: Under the Knife (DS)
Trauma Center: Second Opinion (Wii)
Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 (DS)
Trauma Team (Wii)
Trauma Center: New Blood (Wii)

- The Sims 3 (PC)
Haven't played it, but I heard it's fun.

- Fire Emblem: Awakening
Yeah, sure. FE games are mediocre at worst, great at the best.

- Kingdom Hearts: Recoded
- Kingdom Hearts: Dream drop distance
The story line in kingdom Hearts is a complete madhouse. Unless you've played all the games, I wouldn't get these.

- Legend of Zelda: A link between worlds
Sure, why not?

- Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time 3D
Buy it if you haven't played it yet. Skip it if you have.

- Bravely Default
Interesting, but can get really grind-y.

- Adventure time: Explore the dungeon because I DON'T KNOW
- Regular Show: The video game
I usually don't buy licensed games because they're usually rushed to cash in on a craze. If you really enjoy the source material, then get them.

I loved LoZ: A Link Between Worlds, but maybe that's just because A Link to the Past was my first Zelda game.

Get Cave Story. You could buy the 3D version or what have you, but the PC version is free and absolutely amazing.
If you're into puzzle games, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Professor Layton are two great series for the DS and 3DS.
EarthBound is fun; you can buy it on the Wii U eShop for ten bucks. If you have a SNES, you could get it for about $200 XD.

I'm not really sure what kind of games you're into; I'll play any game as long as it's fun to me. There's an entire world of them out there - go explore!

always yes to the Zelda, my sister swears by the kingdom hearts games. I havent played them myself but i have them.

Thanks guys! All of this has helped me out a lot. I'll be getting four games this weekend. My Dad bought me Kingdom hearts: Dream drop distance and it should be coming tomorrow. I'll be getting three others since I'm trading in a bunch of unwanted games at GAME for about ?70, and there's a buy 2 get 1 free on preowned games offer going on. I'll be getting Loz: OoT, Pokemon X (which I decided I wanted, need to see what the fuss is about!), and I'm not sure about #4. Possibly Bravely Default, Loz: LBW, or The sims 3 for 3DS.

I will FOREVER recommend the Sims series. You can play for hours on end in varying scenarios, and make it whatever you want it to be! The combinations are endless and it's tons of fun for hours :) Best of luck choosing!

My favourite game in existence is still Fallout 3, so as far as I'm concerned you can't do wrong with it. As long as you conserve your ammo in the wasteland, you're set.

Also... Dogmeat is the cutest. <3

I'm amazed no one in this thread has mentioned it, but Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate is tied as my favourite game on the 3DS along with AC:NL. You should easily be able to sink 200 hours at least just to get to the end of the single-player quest-set. By the time you get to the end of the more difficult quests which are intended for multiplayer, you should be looking at between 500-1000 hours! It also has the best looking graphics I've seen in any 3DS game. Admittedly I am slightly biased since I've been playing it since the PSP version of Monster Hunter Freedom and it's the main reason I bought a 3DS, but it's definitely worth checking out all the same. :)
