Selling Making custom avatars

Hi guys !

I have access to some image editing software and I'm making custom avatars for those of you who want to have a personalized look on The Bell Tree Forum.

You have a choice when it comes to choosing what you want, but I'm only using Redbubble user Purplepixel's creations as material for avatars.

Conditions

• Please send me a private message to request a customized avatar. Please specify which villagers you want on your avatar, if you want a coloured or transparent background and the desired colour of the background (be very specific, give me the pantone of the colour)
• Avatar delivery : usually within 5 days (unless specified)
• I'm only using Redbubble user Purplepixel's creations as material for avatars.
• Please make sure you can use the custom avatar before requesting one from me. Also do provide the size of the avatar you want
• 100x100 pixels avatar : 100 TBT bells
• 150x100 pixels avatar : 125 TBT bells
• What is delivered is final. I will not correct, modify, or change the avatar once it's sent. If you request a correction, this will be treated as a completely new order.
• The avatar image will be sent upon the receipt of the TBT payment.
• The price of this service might be modified at any time without warning.

no i didn’t see it as rude at all!! i was making the point that they would get a lot more business if they were offering cheaper avatars.

i agree that your time is valuable and this is necessary for people who don’t have the equipment to make their own avatars, but you’d be way better off/successful if you lowered the price. i’m just saying 200 bells is quite expensive if the art isn’t even your own.

At least they are giving credit for their original source instead of just claiming it as their own all together.

Hello. Even if you did receive permission to use this person's art, selling it for profit when you aren't the original creator is another matter. Please make sure to only offer art for sale that you created yourself, and if you have permission to use art from someone else, offer it for free or save it for personal use only.

Also, despite many users posting here to give their opinions, only one person of all of you reported the thread so it could be dealt with. We want to remind everyone that it's better to report any thread that you think might go against our rules and refrain from trying to take matters into your own hands, which only makes things worse and can lead to a flame war.
