Make your own paths vs QR codes

I was just curious about if people prefer to make their own town pathways or just use a qr code? I like to try and make my own paths but I can't make water designs to save my life so I just use qr codes for that

I'm not even using a path for my town, but I used to, and I preferred using qr codes since I have absolutely no artistic ability whatsoever and cannot create a decent design for the life of me

I have always used qr codes, tried to make a path once. It gave me a headache and necklace ache.

i made my own paths for lumatown, but i'm using qr codes for pearlsey. tbh i prefer making my own paths, so i can get them to look exactly how i want them to. the only reason why i use qr codes for pearlsey is because i want a stone path for that town with snow along the edges, but i don't know to make a path like that so i had to look for codes for the closest thing there was to what i had in mind.

If I even tried to make my own, it would end up looking tacky. So I just stick to good 'ol QR codes since they're better than what I could ever make.

I have no time, patience, or talent to make my own paths. I tried making a path once and it turned out horribly. Needless to say, I never attempted to make a path again. So yeah, qr codes for me!

I prefer making my own paths. (In fact, I prefer making my own patterns for everything that I customize--my favorite things to make are standees, signs, and flags.) I am an artist IRL and just like to have things completely personalized. I also love seeing other people's custom work, even if they feel they are not great at designing. If it's custom, I can pretty much guarantee I will enjoy looking at it.

Granted, my temporary paths in AHS are a recolor of QR paths--and it's been driving me nuts! I think they look great, but it bothers me that they're not 100% my creation. BUT that is a quirk of mine, and I think anyone who enjoys searching for and using QR paths should absolutely do so. There are so many gorgeous QRs out there!

Both honestly. For my main town depending on the season, I'll use a 1 tile qr code path someone else made and combine with a path I made. I love a lot of detailed paths but it's just so many slots and it's annoying to switch to your side character if you accidentally erase a path. That's why I use very few qr codes.

i have absolutely no patience in creating any type of qr codes (whether it be paths, clothes, patterns, or a flag) so i just stick to using premade qr codes.

As much as I love using my own designs, I'm simply not talented enough to make paths. The QR codes by other people are so amazing and detailed.

I need to use QR codes. I absolutely suck at making my own paths. They turn out terrible, especially when I try to make a town flag.

I used to use QR paths in Feldspar, but I made my own a few months ago, and I really like them! I just used another person's path as a makeshift "tutorial" on shading and that sort of thing. Bricks aren't as hard as some other options, though.
