make villigers move?

so i was having Colton move out in two days and was excited because of his horrid house placement. and after getting all the redd cookie items last night i just closed my DS in sleep mode and picked it back up tonight. i made the mistake of talking to colton and accidentally told him to stay!! id turn off the game without saving but i dont wanna loose my cookie items... is there a way i could force him to move again?\

You could do the TTing trick if you don't mind TT'ing. You just go forward two days, talk to everyone and see if they "ping". If try don't, go back two days and do the same thing again. Do that until Colton asks you to move again!

The only other way is to just reboot the game without saving..but what cookie items do you have? I may have extra for you if you decide to reset.

Turn it off without saving. He'll always ask to move so reset until he does
