OK so I was walking around drinking coffee Brewster made for me and I got whispers to come closer. As I got closer a magic lamp popped up. The lamp told me to take it inside since it's quiet in there and doesn't like wide open spaces. Well I'm inside my house and the lamp isn't doing anything. Anyone want to enlighten me? I Googled it but haven't really found the answer. Thanks in advance!!

It might take a day for him to come out. Happened to me too.
If you interact with the lamp (gates must be closed) when it is in your own house, then Wisp may come out and ask you to scan an amiibo card or figure. He'll need a place to exist, so the lamp cannot be blocked in on all sides. And if your 3DS does not have the amiibo compatibility (ie. an 'old' 3DS, not a new3DS) you'll need one of those NFC adapters to scan the cards or figures in!
