I did some Googling and it turns out you can still buy the bag - but of course from other retailers! I remember seeing them at Costco n my area pretty regularly before school started, but it's been a while since I've actively looked for them so I'm not 100% sure. They don't have Mac's carrot & potato purse design to my knowledge but you can live your best Animal Crossing life and use something similar in shape.
