I think she feels less confident without make-up on, but she shouldn't. Not to be a jerk, but showing a female in full make-up looking happy and the same female with no make-up looking downcast and insecure is a terrible message to send to all womanhood. Make-up is merely a decoration and you should feel just as beautiful without it as with it. Sorry to sound too serious about it, but as a mom, I always strive to let my daughter know that she is beautiful, strong, confident and intelligent with or without some color splashed on her face.
