Looking for Cranky recommendation

I've never had a cranky villager, they're my absolute priority!

Currently Apollo, Kabuki are my front runners, but Croque seem interesting. Personally I love interesting dialogues (Olaf is my fav so far) and interesting house interior/exterior is also important to me (the main reason I have Ruby as my peppy).

Would love to hear your personal experiences with cranky villagers, thanks in advance!

I love Apollo! He's a great cranky. His house is a garage with a pool table/diner themed furniture and is kind of like a guy living on his own in his man cave lol. He also sings pretty often since his interest is music if that's something that appeals to you!

Chief is my fav cranky wolf! but croque is so cool it'd be so cool to see him on someone's island getting some attention! hes a great cranky too

Limberg! He is a nouse named after cheese, and he has a gorgeous autumn themed house.

And Vic - bull with a Viking hat, pirate themed house.

Roscoe is really cool and I love his design.

Elvis also lives on my island and he has an amazing house.

another roscoe vote! but out of the choices, i also really like kabuki and croque.

I have Gaston and Butch on my island, and I love them. Not everyone will like Gaston due to his design or the interior of his house, but I love all of it. I think he fits the cranky personality so well.

If you want someone cranky and cool, I would recommend Walt. He is the only Kangaroo I love.

I have 3 crankies and they're all amazing! But it seems you like Apollo so I'll talk about the ones I have and him!

Apollo - Likes to sing! Super cool design and has a pretty nice house interior. One of the best eagles imo. Fave song is K.K. Rock, good taste
Chief - Likes to sing! Looks a bit like a fox. People don't seem to like his house (graffiti, trash, goods dealer) but I think it looks neat.
Fang - Likes to read! All he does is read, look at flowers and eat sandwiches! His house is antique and he gives off the most "old man vibes" from my list
Roscoe - Likes to sing! The dark horse, literally. Really cool house interior and everything about him is BLACK. Fave song is K.K. D&B, good taste

I think Kabuki is really cool and has a cool design. My favorite cranky villagers are Tom and Static. Static was my favorite from gamecube days and I met Tom in new leaf and I love him.

i vote dobie! he's an elderly wolf whose house interior makes me think of the office of a jaded private detective. i have him on my island right now and i love to think he rolled into town to solve some mystery that i'm just blissfully unaware about.

I love crankiesI I've always had 1 wolf cranky in my AC towns cause they're classics. But I love that you're looking for them based on their interiors - that's what I've been doing in NH too since I like to give my villagers backstories. In that case I recommend:

• Chief: if you wan't a really unique house - its an alleyway that makes him look like he's selling fake art, much like another orange doggo we know...
• Dobbie: his house + interior makes him look like a professor which is pretty cool. he'll give blathers a run for his money!
• Fang: his house looks really regal, like a president's or something
• Wolfgang: his house is nice but its pretty plain, not gonna lie. just the ironwood furniture set
• Spike: honorable mention cause I snatched him up from my campsite yesterday. he looks like he's in the mafia or something haha
• Apollo: also a classic cranky imo. someone already described his interior above and it seems pretty unique
