I've always wondered where those people at auctions that talk so fast where from...

I feel bad for the guy that had to count all of those letters.

presumably texas/the south, depending on which auctioneers you're talking about. *Psychonaut thinks of those longwinded drawling fast-talkers*

If a spelling teacher in a genius-level college in senior year wanted to have the ultimate spelling test, they'd only need this word.
Heh, that would only work if they could pronounce it. "Students, spell 'Methionlynmnmrmmmnnnnn*mumbles*' But wow, that's insanely long.

I've memorized how to say "Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis" since I was 5. It's the longest word in any English dictionary, so I consider it the REAL longest word.

Just to give another perspective, what's written on the first page is about 27,000 characters. Not even a fourth of the word!

Zetaboards only allow 50,000 characters a post.

Someone needs to make a youtube video trying to pronounce it.

If I were reading a book with that word in it... It'll take up a short chapter xP

Short? It's like 183,000 letters.

That's like the size of a 500+ page book.
