I've always wondered where those people at auctions that talk so fast where from...

I feel bad for the guy that had to count all of those letters.

presumably texas/the south, depending on which auctioneers you're talking about. *Psychonaut thinks of those longwinded drawling fast-talkers*

but they COULD be from anywhere... I guess. :/

Heh, that would only work if they could pronounce it. "Students, spell 'Methionlynmnmrmmmnnnnn*mumbles*' But wow, that's insanely long.
 
I've memorized how to say "Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis" since I was 5. It's the longest word in any English dictionary, so I consider it the REAL longest word.
 
Just to give another perspective, what's written on the first page is about 27,000 characters. Not even a fourth of the word!
