GMT is the standard time zone, and normally time zones are worked out by adding or subtracting hours from that standard

In this case, it's GMT - 6, which I think is CST/Central Standard Time.. Although correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not American xD

I know how the system works, but being American they just don't teach us what the U.S. time zones are in relation. So without a starting point I have no idea how to calculate it. We're just told Pacific/Central/Mountain/Eastern.
