Have you ever done something in the game that you regretted doing later?
Me... aside from selling a golden tool by accident (I had a spare), I accidentally sold all of my perfect peaches without keeping a basket in storage and left my single basket on the ground. Since Halloween is around the corner, I decided to keep my perfect trees dead for the atmosphere, so I had no more perfect peaches. Last Tuesday, when Ankha moved in, she moved in right on top of the peaches that I forgot to put away. Yeah... I could have reset the game, but her house landed in the most perfectly symmetrical spot that I didn't have to do anything to change my town significantly.

Well... no matter, I just need to get a peach tree to spawn a new perfect peach.

ive been harvesting my cherry trees for months now and not 1 perfect cherry has spawned...yet.

the last time i had a perfect cherry is when i just started playing the game, and my 1 tree by default had one, and cause i was new to the game i didnt understand it was rare and i sold it.


so ive been trying to get a new one to spawn and no luck. and prolly never will. im about to just ask someone here if they can gimme one lol

Since fertilizer increases perfect fruit spawning chances. But only for native fruit.

Unfortunately, my police station was full at the time. Should have been a little more on it to clear it out more frequently.

I remember when I got my station built I had like 12+ crushed gyroids from earlier and got them all back over time with taking ones out to clear space for more.

I think the game has a bit of a backlog memory for stuff like this. Similar to how you can order 40+ items from the catalogue and still receive everything over time.

I just cleared it today, so hopefully they'll return.

 

[Story]

Yeah, choosing the spots for some of my non-removable public works projects.
Namely my Reset Center. I have a strip of land that is not connected anywhere, I wanted to connect a bridge there but the only viable spot where I could was right where the Reset Center was in the way! So now I have a dead space where no one but player characters can travel to. I'm making the best of it though, now it is a trail that leads to a zen bell.

My Cafe and Campsites are in really awkward spots too. My Cafe is three spaces above where my paths are, and it is so close to a player home that it creates an awkward dead space in the back. Still not sure what to do with it.
As for my campsite, it is really close to the river and the Re-cycle center. So it looks it is in the middle of a sidewalk. I wish I had put it in that dead space of land. xD

I sold the first perfect apple that I had gotten. I got another one though so it's not a problem for me now though.

Yes, someone left me a tip once and I didn't pick it up right away. A villager moved in right on top of it and it was gone! Now I collect tips or gifts immediately. I feel bad, hope it wasn't too much.

OMG! I'm sorry - and I'm sorry I laughed when I read that! No, it's not smart, but likely you were just selling and clicked out of habit and not intentionally.

I've accidentally sold good tools to Reese, tho. Argh! The frustration! It's hard when you are trying to get rid of stuff just to free up inventory space. And this game doesn't allow you to buy back your items, so it's worse when you sell by accident. You are just plain out of luck. I try to be careful, but I've also accidentally sold whalesharks thinking quickly that they were sea bass.

Yep. I just made a really dumb mistake out of noobishness. I managed to get a beach chair from Puddles when she was in my second town, and thinking I could re-order it at any time, sold it in re-tail since I didn't need it at that time. Then, I started to redecorate in my first town and was making one room a beach theme, so I went to order it for that town, and found out I couldn't.
