Logical Answer to a simple Question

I am damn sure you've heard this question:
What came first? The Chicken....Or the egg?
(if not, you have now)
Usually you blurt out the first answer without thinking of a reason. Well heres the Simple Solution:
If you believe in Religeon/god .etc. the chicken was first since God would've made a large amount of chickens to let the animal thrive.
If you believe in Evoulotionism (not sure thats a real word...basically if you believe in Evoloution and the big bang) The Egg came first, the Animal BEFORE the chicken aid the egg wich became the chicken.

Well theres that. If you have ANY more questions like the one above why not post them and see if people can come up with sensable (not likely) answers :]
