Live K.K. Slider on Multiplayer?

How does K.K. Slider's Saturday night show work when friends are over?
My best friend has recently started player ACNL and if we go and watch K.K. tomorrow do we both get the CD? Just me? Or do we not get one because I have friends over?
Sorry, it is probably a simple question but I can't find much online.

Just based on my guess (I usually never have friends over at my town, let alone have ANY friends) is that at the host usually gets the CD, since he/she's the one who requests the song, and vice versa. (The friend does NOT get the CD, since he/she's just visiting)
