My favorite album of all time is available in full, legally, and for FREE on last.fm. As far as I know, this is available even to those that don't have an account.

Click, listen, enjoy. My favorite tracks are the 1st, 4th, 5th, and 6th. Though I of course love them all...

I can't believe it... this gets 20 views and no posts, while "do you like twilight" is still going strong. Damn...

Too busy listening to Akira Yamaoka's work on the Silent Hill: Homecoming OST.

It's good, just not my sort of music. Sorry, mang. :<

This is not the sort of music you can listen to and immediately go "oh, yeah, that's my type of music!" It's music that demands attention and is significantly more rewarding than most stuff out there.

Of course, if you're already familiar with the style, it's easy to appreciate it, and "clicks" immediately...

I shouldn't need to put effort into enjoying music.

you're forgetting that more than half of the people on here are twelve year old teens who obsess over vampires and romance. I LIKE IT.

Yeah, of course, God forbid we challenge our intellect a little bit and think about what we're listening to...

I don't mean to come off as highbrow or anything, but music of lasting value is not "easy listening", but rather music that makes us think.

Smart music.

Really?

So, I should disregard my music tastes and whore myself out to your choice because it makes me think about it?

Really?

No, not at all. I am merely saying that the mainstream is mainstream for a reason... most people don't want to put any effort into listening to music (or anything, for that matter). But if they just tried to analyze a more complex piece or genre, they would find it much more rewarding than the pop stuff...

I don't get why we should have to put effort into listening to music...

It just isn't my kind of music, I like other music more.
