Do they harm the Wii System?
Because some people are saying they do, And others saying that they don't.

the only thing they'll do is if you try to sell light sabers to tom nook other than that i don't think they'll do anything

if you do sell it to tom i think it freezes your game

They can

and just because it doesn't harm your wii right away, that doesn't mean that it won't screw up during an update or whatever...

any hacked item, especially one that has been altered this much, has the potential to be dangerous

I don't think thy do anything, i've had people with them come to my town and there hasn't been a problem for me, or them. I think they're pretty cool, actually, but i'm not getting them because I think it's more fun and rewarding to collect the rare, legit items. If you get a rare, hacked item, it can become really common in a few days. (It depends if the hacker gives them away to everyone or just to his close friends though.)

So should I give my blue one away?

would just get rid of it if it were me...

I would put it in my recycle bin and wait for it to go away...
