When dealing with the many questions of life many people look to a religion. However I find that most of the time people are asking the absolutely wrong questions.

For instance, if someone asks "Is there a god?", I don't think that is really as important as asking "Does it matter if there is a god?" To me if I don't think if there is a god or not matters as long as it is a benevolent god. Why would a being of benevolence care whether you thought he was there or not, he wouldn't he would care for you regardless. If there is a god that isn't good, I wouldn't want to worship him anyway. I would defy that god to the end.

People ask what the meaning of life is an awful lot as well, I think it better to ask what is my meaning in life. It might have taken me 18 year, but I actually touched the answer to the second answer. It is hard to explain, but the short version is that I would live for others in my life.

This is all going down to the heart of philosophy. I know there is some meaning in life somewhere. There was a single moment that I can pinpoint that I suddenly understood what I should do with my life. That moment was pure bliss to me, I teared up with joy and felt like I finally mattered in the world. I actually thought if I was struck down by a lightening bolt I wouldn't care, because my life made a difference. Of course soon after that I thought I hope I don't because I can still do so much more, but the force of this realization was amazing. This was all due to making the difference in a kids life, I might have only taught him archery but he was really upset he wouldn't see me again most likely and it really touched me. I actually made his life better and it made me realize all the other people's lives I made better. This lead to my belief that it was my meaning. I was here to help others.

Either way just remember that when you are faced with a paradox in your life, or just can't wrap your mind around something, try thinking about it a different way, you might find a question that makes yours obsolete that you can answer. Have a nice day, and remember...

I really like this part. Dude, you're a miracle. You're so important and special on this Earth. I'm glad this touched you.
