When I started up my game this morning, I didn't think there'd be anything more exciting than my public works projects announcement. But, while talking with the villagers, I spotted a lost item on the ground. Who could it belong to? I started asking some of my villagers, and it turned out to be Rory's sweatpants. He even said they were new, and that he hadn't even worn them! 
My yellow bench was completed today. I got to celebrate with Isabelle, Tex, Rory, and Penelope. The yellow bench is right near the event plaza, which I think is nice.
Afterwards I headed back to the town hall and asked Isabelle to start The Roost café. I decided on a spot near the plaza, too-close to the bridge and a little ways from Retail. Once I have the Bells (it costs a little less than 300,0000), I will pay it off, but I'll definitely have to chop down some trees-there was hardly any room to put the café, so if I want more projects the trees will be a big problem. I changed my hairstyle to pink, too.
Maelle also suggested of moving a few days back. She is moving in about 2 days-she was actually quite nice to me, and I'm surprised to realize that I'm going to miss her. I mean, Chester has moved too, but I guess since I didn't have him as long, I don't miss him as much.
