Letters from Dad

So today i got a letter that reads:

?To my sweet petal,
How ya doing? What are you up to these days anyway?

Take this, and don?t spend it all in one place!?

with 10k bells attatched to it too lol which is weird to me because i don?t remember getting letters from him like that in the game ever, has anyone else gotten this?

Ever since my father passed away in December of 2018, I've gotten almost a letter a week from Dad. Each time I get one, I start to tear up. Animal Crossing has been my escape from most of life's problems and especially after my dad's passing, I turned to Animal Crossing to cope with it. It makes me feel like he's watching over me, especially since he was the one that got me into video games. Even when I load up Wild World or Population Growing, games I don't play as often as I used to, I have a letter from dad in the mail. Reasons like this are why Animal Crossing is my favorite franchise and will always hold a special place in my heart.

Yeah I think it’s awesome, although I never remember getting any of them in the first year or so that I played, only recently I’ve gotten a couple. Was it part of the new update, or just a weird coincidence? I’m too lazy to look it up !

I didnt get a letter from him on fathers day even though I thought that was the one day you were suppose to. Mom wrote me instead and gave me the red carnation.

Also, my second character that I use for plot resetting got 10k from mom in a letter and I'm like ???? Why isn't my main character getting 10k

Needless to say I took the 10k from him.
