It comes out on the 30th at 10am in Japan. It's already the 30th at 9:30am there, so we get it early.

Ah, that's why I was confused. Nintendo generally releases things on UTC, not just JST. I was suspecting the update would be out in the early morning, since the trailer said the 30th for the Americas and Europe.

I'm a new fan! I watched Voyager earlier this year, and now I'm catching up on Discovery and watching Lower Decks live.

I think Deep Space Nine or Next Gen is next. I'd like to watch Picard as well.

Literally every update so far for ACNH has come at the same time: ~9 PM EST the night before the advertised drop date. It's happening tonight

Ooooh man... you are in for some GREAT episodes! Voyager is great, but i have to say that TNG and DS9 are even better IMHO!

I’ve been a productive adult while waiting for the update. I did the dishes, cleaned my fish tank (it was over due) and ate dinner with my SO. I also meant to take a shower before the update but I kinda ran outta time.
