Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is one of the best N64 games I have ever played, I recommend buying that one.

OoT is a classic, and fun in it's own right, but I must say that MM was waaayyy more fun and fleshed out

It's not really the "wrong buy"
This is all personal opinion, you choose what you want and if you see MM for a few bucks, get it.
It's worth it
