Leap Year Reset

I was thinking about restarting my town, and I always like to choose a date that I like to do it on. Then I remembered that it's a leap year this year, so why not restart it on the 29th of February? Since that date only comes around every four years, it would be pretty cool and also quite fun if I was able to keep the town for four years to celebrate on that date!

The only issue is having to wait a whole month to actually reset (I don't TT) which is going to be really irritating. Also, my birthday is in February so I'm going to miss my birthday in acnl

Anyway, I just thought I'd start a thread about it in case anyone else wanted to restart on this date too and we could all keep each other up to date with progress and stuff :3

Oh my god, it is a leap year this year! I never noticed! I think you should reset on Feb 29. That's such a cool date to reset and start a new town on!

I would do it but I JUST picked my new town last night and plus I wouldn't have anything fun for my birthday if I restarted on my birthday lol. So I will just stay with my new town. Good luck to all of you though!

How old are you? Probably too young to be on the internet ma'am... xD I'm sorry, you probably get these things told to you way too often.

I think the idea of starting a town on that day is pretty cool! I don't think you'll be keeping that town for 4 years, though, since by then a new Animal Crossing will have released already. If I was planning to reset my town I'd 'participate' in this, but I'm happy with my town so no resetting for me.

I'm doing the 1/1 Challenge already, but I'm so unhappy with my map (I love the map I had in my first town and the more I play the more I miss that map) and character appearance and name and everything, (except villagers, they are what keep me going.) it just makes me feel so unmotivated to play. I will consider this, I have time to do so, but if I do decide to, I'll have to transfer all the stuff I bought with my TBT.

But the only thing that it's not permitted it's to time travel
And you can only come on February 29 (1 week IL give break but they must put it in the 29 of this year then no more time traveling and no passing money nor tools
But furniture yes

Haha! Yes, I will in fact be turning 'leap year 7' but really I'll be 24 xD
