I read about this, I've been interested in checking out the first game and if I like it, I'll likely import the European version as well if it doesn't come stateside.

And also, their titles seem to fare well in Europe, considering we got the another code [or trace memory for you Americans] sequel as well (which I still need to buy...)

They did, this is their last game.

I'm guessing they went bankrupt in the middle of production and are allowed to finish this title.
