Today is the day the grass and trees change colors one last time before snowfall. It's like the town is dead. Winter is just ahead. I actually find my town beautiful when I get to this point, but it's still the end of the road.

How do you feel about the impending winter now that the grass and trees are brown as the trees that always stay green change to an ugly shade of green?

Also, do you like this more than the gray grass and trees in previous games?

I have it and I hate it, I'll like it when all is covered with snow but I prefer spring D':

I don't mind it, but I can't wait until my first winter on ACNL!

The only reason I like Winter is because there's snow. The ugly green grass puts me in a bad mood.

When Winter ends, I find it really refreshing, because Spring is my favourite season (love the cherry blossoms) and plus, my birthday's in Spring. :3

I can?t wait for spring to come! I dislike fall very much. Anyway, I liked the recent color change in the grass, it?s a tiny bit greener I think? :D

I like all the seasons in ACNL except that one point in time between spring and summer where everything looks like the sun dried it all out
I think some of the topical island tours are at that stage of the seasons, I don't like playing at that time, but I love it afterwards when the grass becomes more lush and saturated green

Ive never played a winter in Animal Crossing and I got extremely excited today when I saw snow falling ^^
I am looking forward to more snow fall but at the same time, longing for Spring.

Even though we are at the end of the road of the days without snow covering the grass and roofs, the year isn't essentially dead until December 25th. Why? Because, other than New Years, there are no more holidays or celebrations. Right now, it's not even Thanksgivings yet, but it's dead ahead. Between ACNL's Christmas and New Year's are six days where there are no holidays (unless if one of your villagers has a birthday around that time). Also, they are the last few days until the year changes.

I actually like the cycle of how your town progresses through when the seasons change. In the fall months (September to November), it all starts out with dark green grass with dark green trees like we see in the summer. At the end, we see this (when grass and trees are brown). Throughout the entire season, the colors change quickly.

I get put off my town when the grass/trees are this color lol. Can't wait for the snow!

It's pretty dreary looking, but I think it's lovely how the game changes with the seasons

I'm kind of excited for snow - the orange grass alone later in the season just looks so dead, at least the snow covers it all again.
Also doesn't snow fix grass wear faster than rain? That alone is reason to be excited for it :")

I can't wait for the snow! My town was looking so dull today with the dark grass and grey skies, it was kinda depressing. Snow will hopefully brighten things up a bit. However I do get sick of snow after a couple months so I'm more looking forward to seeing the nice spring grass again! Felt like such a relief seeing it earlier this year.

It's kinda dreary looking with the color change, but I'm looking forward to the snow, and the lights on the cedar trees ^o^

This year I'm looking forward to the lights on the Cedar Trees. Plant a lot more and hope most of them light up.
I've played Winter before and got all the snow items. So I'm looking forward to Toy Day and New Years Eve.
Think New Year Eve is one of my favorite holidays.
My 2nd town is in March so I'll have a place to escape when winter gets to be too much. I do like Spring and the blossom trees.
